St Johnstone have announced that left-back Scott Tanser has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until at least May, 2021.
The 24-year-old has been ever present for Saints this season with the former Rochdale and Port Vale defender netting his first goal for the club last month against Dundee.
Tanser admitted he was delighted to extend his stay at McDiarmid.
He said: “I’m very happy to have signed the contract extension and it was a no-brainer for me. As soon as I knew there was an offer, I just wanted to get it signed.
“I’m enjoying my football here and I feel settled. I have a young family now and it’s great to have the security of a two-year-deal which will allow me to focus on putting in performances every week for this club.
“Last year I had to wait for my chance to break into the team and this season I’ve managed to play in every game – I’m absolutely loving it!”
