The extent of Zander Clark’s injury should be known today.
The St Johnstone goalkeeper was substituted early in Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly against Morton after feeling tightness in his groin.
Clark didn’t want to take any chances after injuring his hamstring in training last season.
Summer signing Elliot Parish came on and performed well.
Saints’ last pre-season match is against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Friday night, before the Perth men begin their Betfred Cup campaign the following Tuesday at Montrose.
