Another training ground injury for Liam Gordon could keep the St Johnstone defender out of action for a lengthy spell.
The Perth centre-back has twisted his leg and will be scanned to determine the extent of the damage.
Gordon has endured a terrible run of luck in recent times, including a broken arm (again on the training pitch) which sidelined him at the start of this season.
It is a huge blow for the 23-year-old and his manager Tommy Wright who will now have to choose between Madis Vihmann and Wallace Duffy as captain Jason Kerr’s central defensive partner for Tomorrow’s game against Ross County, and possibly for a lot longer.
