Fife Flyers have confirmed the re-signing of French Canadian Philippe Paquet for the 2016/17 season.
The 29-year-old defenceman said: “I am happy to be back in Fife for a second season.
“I feel like the club has taken a big step forward and we’re now ready to move up the table and bring home some silverware.
“I’m excited to play in front of the home crowd and looking forward to seeing more people in the building.”
Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added: “I’m glad to have Phil back on the roster for a second season.
“He’s a great guy on and off the ice and is respected by his peers.
“He moves the puck well and uses his size to his advantage. He gives his all and I know he is keen to continue where we left off last season. He’s hungry for silverware and we need that hunger to push us on.”
