Dundee Stars, written off by many in January, marched into the semi- finals of the Elite League play-offs last night.
They won both legs of their quarter-final against Scottish rivals Braehead Clan after digging deep.
A packed house in Glasgow saw a blanked first session.
Justin Faryna broke the deadlock after good work from Kevin Bruijsten and Joey Sides in 31 minutes.
Sides turned from provider to scorer with a second after 43 minutes, with Craig Cescon and Cale Tenaka assisting.
Kevin Hart fired number three just over three minutes later with Tanaka again involved, this time with Sides.
Dundee Stars won Saturday’s first leg at Dundee Ice Arena 3-1.
Faryna fired them ahead after seven minutes but Alex Leavitt levelled in the 24th minute.
However, goals courtesy of Mikael Lidhammar after 39 minutes and Vinny Scarsella nine minutes later secured the win in a game in which Stars outshot Clan 39-26.
