The Dundee Stars have announced the signing of Brian Hart.
Hart – whose brother is former Star, Kevin – joins the club from the Kalamazoo Wings where he iced for half of last season, with the remainder being spent in the AHL with Syracuse Crunch.
The signing has been made in the wake of the long-term injury to Chris Lawrence.
Stars head coach and general manager Omar Pacha said: “It’s great to have Brian on board with us.
“Losing Chris was a big blow. We felt we needed to get a player that can provide offence and that can also play physical. Brian was the perfect option.
“He has great experience, even for a younger player. I think his move will not only help the team but be a great first step for him in Europe.
“I would also like to mention the great help from Kevin. He told him all about the club and he was a big reason why we got Brian”.
