The Dundee Stars have announced the re-signing of forward Jordan Cownie for the 2018/19 season. The local player iced on 50 occasions for the Stars last season, amassing a total of 24 points. Stars GM and head coach Omar Pacha was delighted to bring back the 22-year-old. He said: “Cownie is a player that has grown massively throughout the season. “He was one of our key players in the second half of the season. We are looking for him to take another step in his game next season.” Cownie is Stars’ third signing for next season, joining fellow forwards Brian Hart and Lukas Lundvald.
