Scotland have made three changes to their pack for the game against Grand Slam seeking France at BT Murrayfield on Sunday.
Head coach Gregor Townsend has dropped Stuart McInally and Magnus Bradbury to the bench and left Ben Toolis out of the matchday squad altogether.
Fraser Brown will win his 50th cap at hooker, Grant Gilchrist comes back in the second row and Nick Haining – who played against Ireland but was left out of the England and Italy games – returns at No 8.
On the bench, Sam Skinner makes his first appearance since before the Rugby World Cup as cover for both second row and back row, Duncan Weir makes his first appearance in a Scotland squad since Townsend was head coach, and Kyle Steyn, the Glasgow centre/wing, could win his first cap.
France have named their team as well and the prolific wing Damien Penaud returns from injury having missed their three wins over England, Italy and Wales.
