Lady Gaga’s new track with Ariana Grande will arrive next week, the pop superstars have announced.
Rain On Me, from Gaga’s upcoming album Chromatica, will launch on May 22.
Gaga and Grande announced the news on Instagram, alongside cover art for the single which continues the extra-terrestrial theme of the album.
Gaga, wearing a sci-fi-themed outfit, is seen lying on the ground while a similarly dressed Grande looks on from behind her.
Chromatica was originally set to arrive on April 10 before the coronavirus pandemic plunged the entertainment industry into crisis.
It will be released on May 29. As well as a collaboration with Grande, the album also features a song with Sir Elton John and K-pop girl group Blackpink.
Writing at the time she announced the delay, Gaga, 34, said: “This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”
Chromatica is Gaga’s sixth studio album and her first since 2016’s Joanne.
