Piers Morgan has said Gemma Collins was gutsy for getting up and carrying on after she fell on Dancing On Ice.
The reality TV star slipped and fell on her front during her performance on Sunday night’s show, a week after her row with judge Jason Gardiner.
She quickly picked herself up and completed the routine.
Many people have commented on the tumble on social media, with Morgan among those praising the star for her courage.
When one person appeared to poke fun at the fall, he tweeted: “Actually, the gutsiest thing I’ve seen on any talent show for years.
“Fell flat on her face, probably hurt like hell in every sense, but got up again & received her best score. Bravo @missgemcollins.”
Collins’ boyfriend James Argent also told of his pride.
“I LOVE YOU @missgemcollins,” he tweeted.
“When I saw her fall like that face first I honestly thought she might be unconscious or lost some teeth!
“The way she got up & carried on was AMAZING!!! You worked so hard this week & improved so much!”
Collins’ fellow Towie star Mario Falcone tweeted: “Well done @missgemcollins if you fall, you get back up again and smile. That took true guts.”
Radio presenter Andy Goulding was also among those supporting the star, posting: “That dance from @missgemcollins was iconic! Just like Madonna at The Brits, she got up and styled it out!”
The star earned a mark of 16.5 out of 40 from the Dancing On Ice judges, who all agreed she had improved.
Collins had a run-in with judge Gardiner during last weekend’s show when he criticised her performance and she accused him of selling stories about her.
But this week he said she had done better, saying: “When you drop the ‘GC’ and come in and apply yourself, you have improved.”
Dancing On Ice continues on ITV.
