Fans of This Morning have shared their well-wishes as Holly Willoughby missed the programme because she is unwell.
Phillip Schofield was joined by stand-in host Rochelle Humes on Wednesday’s broadcast, and he told viewers that Willoughby had started to feel ill at the weekend.
Schofield said: “Some of you might have noticed that I’ve got a different co-host for the day.
“Holly’s poorly today. If you’ve been watching throughout the week you’ll know that she’s been on a sort of downward spiral. Started on Dancing On Ice, she wasn’t really brilliant on Sunday, and then it’s got worse and worse.
“And finally, she’s fallen over so she’s staying home today.”
He added: “Get well soon. She’s not going to be watching, but get well soon.”
Viewers were sad to hear of Willoughby’s absence, with one writing on Twitter: “Missing my @hollywills fix this morning. Get better soon Holly #notthesame.”
Another wrote: “Aww, Holly’s not well, lets hope its something serious. #thismorning.”
One said, along with a cute gif of a dog: “@hollywills get well very soon holls.”
Many other fans shared the same sentiment, sending Willoughby messages on Twitter.
Humes previously stood in for Willoughby on This Morning while she presented I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! at the end of last year as a fill-in for Ant McPartlin alongside Declan Donnelly.
Willoughby spent part of the weekend celebrating her 38th birthday with her family at a spa.
