No decision has been made on the future of Katya Jones on Strictly Come Dancing, according to a show source.
There was speculation that the professional would be given a reduced role following negative publicity around a kiss she shared with dance partner Seann Walsh.
It was suggested in media reports that she would be made a reserve on the show in favour of her husband Neil.
A source working on the show has strongly denied the suggestions, and said they are pure speculation.

It was stated that Strictly dancers are not decided until much later in the year, when celebrities are confirmed for the dance show.
A show source said: “It’s all speculation.
“Partners are never decided until nearer the time. This is all speculation.”
Jones and Walsh apologised for their off-screen conduct following revelations of a kiss shared between the dance partners during the last series.
The pair made it to week six, enduring a “dance of shame”, according to judge Craig Revel Horwood, following the Strictly scandal.
Walsh has referenced the episode in his stand-up comedy.
Representatives of Jones have been contacted for comment.
