Yewande Biala’s stay in the Love Island villa could be coming to an end as a recoupling will see one girl dumped from the show.
Scientist Yewande is coupled with Danny Williams but he has made no secret of the fact that he has a connection with newcomer Arabella Chi and wants to get to know her better.
On Sunday night’s episode of the ITV2 show, Yewnade told Danny she did not mind if he got to know both girls.
But the pressure is stepped up on Monday when it is announced there will be a recoupling, with the boys picking and the girl not chosen to be in a couple sent packing.
Torn between both girls, Danny says in the Beach Hut: “I’ve got to make a decision and I’m confused. I’m not fully sure what I need to do.
“Someone has to leave tonight. At the very least I have to disappoint one girl because they both want me to couple up with them.”
He tells Michael Griffiths by the pool: “If I pick Yewande and it goes back to how it is then I’ve only got myself to blame.
“I could be missing out something quite special with Arabella.”
Monday’s instalment also sees the fallout after Maura Higgins overheard Tom Walker talking about her.
The pair had been due to spend the night in the Hideaway – a treat Maura won for beating the others in a challenge.
But as they were getting ready for their big night, Maura heard Tom talking to the other boys about whether she was “all mouth” and stormed off.
Tom tries to straighten things out, saying it was “a miscommunication”.
“Maybe you should have been a gentleman. You shouldn’t have said that about me,” Maura replies.
Maura says to the girls: “I’m not going to let anyone talk about me like a piece of garbage. He’s trying to be a lad out there in front of all the boys.
“I don’t want a lad, I want a gentleman. Someone who is going to talk about me with a bit of respect.”
Love Island airs on Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
