Dani Dyer has told her new boyfriend she wants him to propose to her.
The 23-year-old, who won Love Island with then boyfriend Jack Fincham last year, has been with stockbroker Sammy Kimmence since May although the pair previously dated.
She told The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine that “within five years I want to be married with a baby”.
The reality star said of Kimmence, also 23: “We had a few dates when we were teenagers, but he’s always been this lovely, solid guy.
“I’ve told him I want to get married. I’ve told him I want him to propose to me on a boat – I’ve even told him what kind of ring I want.
“I don’t hold back. I put it all out there. He’s totally up for it.”
Dyer and Fincham announced they were going their separate ways in April this year, eight months after winning the ITV2 show.
This year’s Love Island was won by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea.
Dyer, the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, said she had support while on the dating show, which will air for two series next year.
The deaths of former contestants Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis have led to increased scrutiny over the reality show’s aftercare.
“I spoke to a psychologist from the show before I went on and afterwards. I had several calls from the producers, checking if I was OK,” Dyer said.
“And a few weeks after the show, when I felt overwhelmed and said I needed to speak to someone, they put me in touch with a psychiatrist,” she told the magazine.
Dyer also said Botox and fillers were “not for me personally”, adding: “If it’s because of low self-esteem, it’s never really going to solve that problem.”
