Volkswagen is adding a new model to its Golf range that offers better value for money. The Golf Match replaces the SE model and has £1600 of extra equipment, but costs just £300 more.
There’s 16-inch alloy wheels, leather multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen digital radio, six-CD autochanger, Bluetooth system and front and rear parking sensors.
Prices start at £17,730 for the 1.4 litre TSI three-door.
There’s also a BlueMotion version of the Match, which has a 1.6 litre, 105hp turbodiesel engine, emits 107g/km of CO2 and returns 68.9mpg.
Order books open now and the first deliveries will be at the end of June.
