Nissan’s popular and capable X-Trail has been overhauled. Going on sale in October, the updated car gets fresh styling, better interior comfort and quality and improvements to its diesel engine.
There’s a redesigned grille, new bumper and headlight designs and clusters of LED lights at the rear, while the wheel arches now house 18″ alloys.
It’s grown by 10mm in length, width and height. Inside, there’s greater use of soft-touch materials and an extra 10mm of rear legroom.
The 2.0 dCi engine has revised ratios for improved performance and economy and there’s a gear-change indicator to help the driver optimise economy.
Nissan haven’t released figures for economy or performance benefits, nor said whether the price will go up. More details nearer the launch date.
