Around 60 half-marathon runners took to the hills of northern Angus at the weekend.
Dozens of entrants participated in the White Caterthun half marathon at Brechin on Saturday.
The special run through some of the county’s most beautiful scenery was resurrected last year by local athlete Brian McLaughlin as a means of raising cash for the Guide Dogs For The Blind.
Last year’s event generated more than £1000 for the good cause after around 40 runners took part.
The original race was first held 23 years ago but fell off the running calendar a few years later before Brian picked up the baton last year.
