An anonymous donor has gifted a valuable painting to a charity event being held at Scone Palace this month.
The painting, by Ralston Gudgeon, is estimated to be worth £700-£1000 and is set to be one of the most valuable items on offer at the Canine Partners Car Boot Sale in the palace parklands on Sunday, April 25.
Lady Stormont said, “We are absolutely delighted to have received such a fantastic donation from a local supporter of the charity.
“An item of this nature is sure to generate a lot of interest on the day and will undoubtedly provide a substantial and much-appreciated boost to the coffers of a very worthwhile cause.”
