A small, independent shop in the north of Fife has celebrated raising more than a quarter of a million pounds for good causes.
Tayport Charity Shop has generated £257,900 since it opened as a thrift shop in 1989 to help local projects in the town, such as the Dolphin Centre.
It staged an open day on Wednesday to mark its achievement and to thank the volunteers who have manned it and the customers who have bought from it over the years.
The shop has operated from several premises in Tayport, moving to the present unit in 2003, and was granted charitable status in 2007.
It has a team of 11 trustees and a further 20 volunteers. All money raised, after running costs, goes to local and national charities.
