Scenic picture today of tug passing under Forth road bridge. A woman fell to her death from the Forth Road Bridge on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred around 5pm as commuters were making their way home from work. Her body was recovered by a coastguard team launched from Hawes Pier, South Queensferry. The Kinghorn lifeboat was also launched at around 5.20pm but was stood down just as the vessel set off. A spokesman for Fife police said inquiries were being conducted to identify the woman.
