1st Monifieth and 2nd Forfar Boys’ Brigade have just returned from their joint summer camp to Carrbridge near Inverness.
The weather played its usual part, but it was a healthy wind this time rather than the usual rain that kept the boys and staff on their toes.
Youngsters and 10 staff made the trip for the 24th consecutive year to the Highland Battalion campsite.
The boys participated in numerous activities throughout the week such as mountain biking, high ropes, kayaking and golf, as well as the annual trip to Landmark Visitors Centre.
There was also time for team games, theme days in camp and the annual camp golf challenge.
Meanwhile, former member Allan Gouick now a qualified RN Marine serving with 45 Commando gave the boys an insight on how to remain warm and dry during the week’s camp.
