Police attended the incident, which also saw the Broughty Ferry lifeboat called out, shortly after 7.30pm. A police spokeswoman said the bridge was closed for around 10 minutes while the man was spoken to by officers. A spokesman for the Broughty Ferry lifeboat said the incident had been dealt with by police and its crews had not been required.
