Coroners’ bid to trace James Kane’s family

Coroners in West Yorkshire are appealing for the relatives of a 43-year-old man to contact them.

James Kane died of natural causes in Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, on Sunday, and is believed to have relatives in Scotland.

Mr Kane, who was also known by the names James Broadfoot and Jimmy Scott, was of no fixed address but is thought to have lived in the Castleford area.

He had two children who live in Leeds, and a mother who worked as a social worker in Scotland.
