A Dundee father-of-two has died while on holiday in Spain.
Liam Stewart, 26, was with his wife and family in Majorca when the incident happened.
His distraught wife Nicky was too upset to speak about the tragedy when approached by The Courier but she said she appreciated the support she had received from friends and family.
The Foreign Office confirmed it was aware of Liam’s death and was offering consular assistance to his family, who have now returned to Dundee.
Liam and his family were believed to be staying at a Club MAC hotel in Alcudia in the north-east of the Balearic island at the time of his death.
The cause of his death has not been revealed.
Hundreds took to social media to pay their respects to Liam and offer support to Nicky and his sister Katie.
