Another of the Rowan family of oil rigs has arrived at Dundee harbour.
The recently-completed Rowan Viking — a 570ft jack-up rig capable of operating in water more than 400 feet deep — is in for inspection.
She is the first of three of a new class of rig for the Houston company and she will be operating in the North Sea for French oil giant Total on a 19-month contract starting in March.
The Rowan Gorilla VI was another recent visitor to the port and the Rowan Gorilla V also spent several months docked at Dundee last year.
