The V&A at Dundee may not open until 2018, but a St Andrews company is offering virtual reality tours of the completed building today.
Live Visualisation creates 3D models of buildingswhich can then be viewed on a computer.
But the company also creatues virtual reality tours using Occulus Rift headsets.
The firm has now posted a brief video of its tour of the V&A at Dundee online and says it hopes the tour will increase interest in the technology.
Construction on the long-awaited museum began on Dundee waterfront in March.
The building, designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, will cost £80 million when completed although its original price tag was just £45 million.
Plans for the museum were first announced in 2007.
