VIDEO: Lea leads RHS Amateur line-up at Gleneagles

From a starting list of almost 40 riders, Mark McGowan’s track for the Aurora Hotels Collection Royal Highland Show Amateur championship final yeilded a total of eight double clears at the recent Gleneagles Senior Premier.
Drawn last to go, but finishing first, was Scottish rider Lea Brash – the sister of world number one Scott Brash – piloting Stanley Brash’s Annan VHB.
With the class won or lost on the run down to an upright first element of the final double combination Lea’s round, which stopped the clock at 39 seconds on the button took her into the lead by almost a second.
