TV star Lorraine Kelly to step out on 24-hour ceilidh
ByThe Courier Reporter
Television star Lorraine Kelly will ceilidh her way all over Scotland during a 24-hour challenge in aid of the STV Children’s Appeal.
Following the success of last year’s Shimmy across Scotland, which raised £100,000 for the appeal, Lorraine will be joining ceilidhs and visiting groups across Scotland to raise money to help children living in poverty.
The ceilidh extravaganza begins in Dundee, before she visits Dunfermline, Crombie, East Whitburn, Milngavie, Glasgow, Inverarnan, Perth, Stirling, Larbert and Edinburgh.
Lorraine said: “I’m always up for a challenge to raise funds for a truly deserving cause.
“I’m looking forward to dropping in and having a wee dance with as many of the schools, organisations and individuals getting behind the appeal as I can over a non-stop 24 hours.”
