Emergency services rushed to the B979 road leading out of the town towards Netherley following the two-car collision around 7.40am. Grampian Fire and Rescue confirmed one man was removed from his vehicle using hydraulic cutting gear and taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Nobody was seriously injured.
