Dundee woman Helen Low has died at the age of 103.
Mrs Low was born and brought up in the city, and took up a post in the Dundee jute mills at the start of her working life.
She stopped work just before she was married as her mother was ill with cancer.
She married joiner Kenneth Low on December 29 1933 and the couple went on to have three daughters, Helen, Esther and Brenda.
Mrs Low returned to work, doing various jobs, including cleaning at the university.
All three daughters emigrated, with Helen moving to California and Esther and Brenda settling in South Africa. Sadly, Esther passed away some years ago.
Mr Low died shortly before the couple’s 70th wedding anniversary.
Mrs Low is survived by Helen, Brenda, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
