Hundreds of excited children and their dedicated patents lined the streets of Dundee city centre from 5.20am to secure tickets to computer game legend Stampy Cat.
Queues of around 500 people stretched from the city square box office, past the Overgate and halfway up Reform Street.

Fans of the Minecraft guru – made famous through his online YouTube tutorials – waited for hours to snap up the in demand tickets for the show next month.
Six-year-old TJ Smith said: “Everything about Stampy Cat is good.”
His 9-year-old brother Connor added: “He also does ‘build time with ballistic squid’ – that’s one of his friends.”

Members of video game studio 4J were also at the sale giving out free Minecraft T- shirts, which quickly ran out.
Art director David Keningale said: “We’ve just been overwhelmed by the amount of people. Everyone is so excited.”

With just under 2,000 tickets going on sale the show – which is taking place at the Caird Hall on November 30 – is expected to sell out today.
