Dundee United stars encourage cyclists to raise charity cash

The Rotary Club of Claverhouse is asking the Tayside public to get behind this year’s Cyclathon, which takes place on Sunday in Dundee’s Camperdown Park.
The annual event gives individuals, families and friends the chance to raise funds for Cash for Kids or their favourite charity.
It has the backing of the Dundee United squad, with players jumping on their bikes to encourage people to sign up to take part.
Centre-half Callum Morris said: “Cycling is a great way to keep fit and I would encourage people to take part in the Cyclathon, have some fun and raise money for deserving causes.”
Coordinator Ian Balgowan said numbers are down on previous years and is encouraging people to join.
“It may be that people are aware they can register on the day but the numbers are a concern,” he said.
