We have tried to contain our excitement over the last few days but it can be contained no more DEE DAY HAS ARRIVED.
Dundee United or St Johnstone are about to win the Scottish Cup but, before that, Dundee stand on the brink of Championship glory.
It has been a long hard season but, one way or another, it is set to end in glory on Tayside. Just how much glory depends on the exploits at Dens Park on Saturday afternoon. It’s going to be the fullest of full houses but if you can’t make it for heaven’s sake don’t panic, just follow all the build-up and all the action right here LIVE.
We also have all the latest as the bid to help disadvantaged young Arabs to the upcoming cup final goes quite literally stratospheric (not literally). Big pats on the back all round.
But it is not, repeat NOT, all about football. We also have amazing news. News regarding Superman….

Ready? Then read on. We have tracked the aforementioned Superman down. And can reveal he lives not in Metropolis, but Perth.
But that’s not all folks. If it were, you may well be shrugging your shoulders and saying: “Meh, prove it” (or words very similar to that).
Well we will prove it. With the greatest of pleasure. We have pictorial evidence, you see.
When he is not pulling people from burning buildings (honest) he is working not as a newspaper man like old Mr Kent but as a parcel delivery driver. I really would implore you not to miss it.
We also have a story to impress the top brass as the European brass band championships roll into town. You’ll be anything but brassed off when you peruse your copy of Saturday’s Courier (I’ll be em-brass-ed if I’m wrong after that big fanfare).
There have been some rather nasty tales of animal cruelty in recent days, what with a dog and cat being killed in Fife. Thankfully, on Saturday we have some better news as a kindly soul puts up cash to help find the thugs responsible for one of the cowardly attacks. And we say good on them.
