The remaining tickets for the Commonwealth Games will go on sale next week, organisers said.
There has been “phenomenal demand” for Glasgow 2014 tickets but some are still available for six sports, including weightlifting and rugby sevens, as well as limited availability for the opening and closing ceremonies.
They will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tickets are going on general sale following the conclusion of an exclusive sale period for those who were not successful in the first round of sales.
There were more than 100,000 applications made for the 100m men’s final at Hampden Park, with track cycling, diving and artistic gymnastics among the other sports oversubscribed.
Ty Speer, deputy chief executive of Glasgow 2014, said: “We have been so delighted with the phenomenal demand for tickets so far.”
The remaining tickets will be sold online at glasgow2014.com or via the ticketing hotline at 0844 8262014.
