The organisers of a charity ball in Dundee have donated more than £13,000 to the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
Arbroath woman Brenda Ross (48) helped organise the event at the Woodlands Hotel in Broughty Ferry to raise cash for CHAS.
About 160 people were at the ball, which also featured a fund-raising auction and raffle.
Brenda, who works at Angus College, said she and her band of Ball Babe helpers were delighted at the event’s success.
“It was a good night and we had a lot of support,” she said. “CHAS do such good work so we are very grateful to everyone who attended. Without them this would not have been possible.”
Local CHAS volunteer Sheila Meikle went along to the Woodlands Hotel to accept the £13,045 donation on behalf of the charity.
