A man remained in hospital last night after sustaining head injuries in an incident in Dundee.
The 35-year-old was discovered bleeding on Fyffe Street in the early hours of Saturday but police last night confirmed he had suffered “no permanent injuries”.
The man was found at the junction with Laurence Street at around half past midnight.
Emergency services raced to the scene to assist the casualty, after receiving reports of a man “lying bleeding in the street”.
The man was rushed to Ninewells Hospital, where he was detained for further observation.
Officers have already carried out door-to-door inquiries in the area and are trawling through public and private CCTV in a bid to find out what happened.
