Today the price of The Courier has gone up from 70p to 75p. This is to help us offset the rising costs of producing your newspapers including all of our raw material, transport, distribution and, of course, quality journalism.
On Saturday the price will rise from 70p to 80p to reflect the higher costs of our bigger weekend product.
Over the course of 2015 we plan to build on the extra content we added in 2014 by revamping the look of the paper to give it a fresh, modern feel and to increase the amount of news from across Courier Country.
We also plan to expand our Saturday magazine and Farming section as well as launching a new monthly business supplement later in the year.
