Dalguise activity centre worker had child abuse pictures

A PERTHSHIRE outdoor activities centre has defended its recruitment policies after an employee was caught with pornographic images of children as young as two on his computer.
Adventure firm PGL said staff at its residential centre at Dalguise, near Dunkeld, were subject to stringent background checks before being offered jobs.
Aaron Sanders (21) admitted possessing indecent images when he appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Sanders was heckled with shouts of “beast” and “paedo” from the public gallery after being told he would learn his fate early next year.
It was the second time in recent years that a member of staff at PGL Dalguise had been found with images of child abuse.
In 2010 a 24-year-old man was jailed for a year after admitting possessing indecent images of children while working at the centre.
