Manhunt after sex attack on 16-year-old girl in Dundee

Police are hunting a man after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted last night in Dundee.
The attacker struck at around 11.20pm in a small wooded area on South Road, near its junction with Arran Drive, in Charleston.
The man described as in his 20s and smelling dirty then ran off up a path towards Menzieshill.
Police say his victim was left “extremely distressed” but not injured.
The attacker is said to be 5ft 10in, stocky, with a Dundee accent. At the time he wore a black hooded top, black trousers and black shoes.
A spokesman said: “Police enquiries began at the scene last night and are continuing today, with offices carrying out further forensic examination at the scene and door-to-door enquiries. A review of CCTV coverage is also under way.”
