‘We don’t want anyone to miss out’ last call for Dundee Race for Life entrants

Women are being urged to grab their last chance to enter Cancer Research UK’s Dundee Race for Life before registration closes on Thursday.

Well over 2,000 women have already joined the fight against cancer by entering the 10k and 5k women-only events in Camperdown Park this Sunday.

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a women-only series of events which raise millions every year for life-saving research into 200 types of cancer.

Carolyn Johnston, event manager, said: ”We are absolutely thrilled that so many women have entered Race for Life in Dundee. But we don’t want anyone to miss out.

”We still have places left for the Dundee events but we are reminding women who want to take part at this venue that they must enter by Thursday evening.”

Men can also get involved on the day by going along to help volunteer.

Carolyn added: ”We’re always looking for people to help at our events because we simply couldn’t do our events without our precious volunteers”

Women can enter the 5k and 10k events at www.raceforlife.org or by calling 08716 411111, where you can also register for similar events in Perth and Fife a week later.
