‘Huge tailbacks’ after Sunday crash on A90 at Longforgan
ByNews reporter
Police in Dundee were called to a crash on the A90 around Longforgan on Sunday afternoon.
Two silver vehicles were involved in the collision at around 1pm.
Sandy Forbes from Longforgan came across the accident shortly after.
He said: ”It was about a quarter of a mile east of Longforgan. The whole of Longforgan was white with sleet at that point so, it’s purely speculation, but that may have contributed to the accident.
”There was an ambulance in attendance but no-one looked seriously injured to my untrained eye. There was a huge queue of traffic backed up all the way to Inchture. There were huge tailbacks.”
A spokesman for Tayside Police said: ”It was a two vehicle, non-injury road traffic accident on the Dundee-bound carriageway around 12.56pm.
”Two police units attended and the road was blocked for a short time but clearly shortly after.”
