A woman has been taken to Ninewells Hospital after a road accident in Angus.
The head-on crash, involving a Mercedes SLK and a Fiesta, happened on the B957 between Justinhaugh and Kirriemuir at around 4.15pm.
The female driver of the Mercedes suffered chest and arm injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. She was also reported to have breathing difficulties.
An air ambulance was called to the scene and landed in a nearby field. However, it was not required.
A passenger in the Mercedes and the driver of the Fiesta escaped unhurt.
The road was closed for a time but reopened at 5.25pm.
