A 69-year-old Arbroath man committed a sex act while naked in full view of his neighbours, a court has heard.
At Arbroath Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Thomas Milne, of Leonard Street, admitted conducting himself in a disorderly manner at his home, standing naked at his window, leaning out the window, committing the sex act and committing a breach of the peace.
He further admitted behaving in a threatening manner by repeatedly shouting and swearing.
Depute fiscal Arlene Shaw said a neighbour saw him in his living room window wearing dark clothing.
When she looked back again his trousers were down and he was committing the act while looking directly at her and leaning forward out of his window.
The woman was disgusted and went down to her neighbour who also saw Milne performing the act and police were called.
Two police officers arrived and saw him standing at the window completely naked. On seeing them, he drew the curtains and turned off the lights. Police knocked and Milne answered the door wearing only blue jogging bottoms.
They found him under the influence of alcohol and he began to shout and swear when they told him he was under arrest.
He said: ”I was slightly naked and I may have gone to window.”
Sentence was deferred until October 16 for reports and bail was continued.
