A Brechin pub was turned into an art gallery on Saturday.
Allison Ross and Mac Nicoll showcased their work at the Brechin Arms in St David Street, featuring landscapes, streets scenes and interiors with figures, created using oils, charcoal and chalks.
Friends and staff at the bar encouraged the pair to stage the exhibition, which will run until March 12.
The duo previously held a successful exhibition at the establishment in July 2001.
They are back again with an exhibition of their recent paintings and artwork, giving the opportunity for people of all ages and artistic tastes to find something interesting.
Allison said, “We held a similar exhibition almost 10 years ago which was a great success, so we thought that it was time that we repeated this success.
“Most of the work will be for sale and commissions are welcome.”
