Glen Clova Hotel is ready to roll out the barrel for guests at its beer festival this weekend.
The three-day event gets under way this evening with a strong local flavour to the brews on offer, including ales from Mor Brewery at Kellas and Fife’s Eden Brewery, along with a good selection of Scottish ciders.
Among the musicians gracing the marquee stage will be Heidrum from Montrose and the Broon Troot Orchestra.
Hotel assistant manager Lesley McArthur said the weekend was one of the busiest of the year, with the emphasis being a family-orientated festival.
“We get a fantastic audience, mainly from the local area of Forfar, Kirriemuir and Dundee, but also from other areas too,” said Lesley.
