Montrose party will end Queen’s Baton Relay day in Angus

Excitement is mounting as Angus puts its plans in place to welcome the Queen’s Baton Relay on Saturday.
As part of the events, Angus Council has put together an end-of-day community celebration at Montrose Sports Centre playing fields.
It will get under way at 1pm with an It’s a Commonwealth Knockout event run by the Montrose Emergency Services Group.
During the afternoon visitors will also be able to try sports activities, music and dance taster events and a bouncy castle.
There will also be events taking place on the main stage from 4pm to 7.30pm.
