Carnoustie man found safe following police appeal

An Angus man missing from his home since the weekend has been traced safe and well.

Police Scotland launched an appeal after concerns were raised for the safety of 31-year-old Andrew Michael Barker from Carnoustie.

He had been last seen at his home in the town early on Saturday evening.

A description of Mr Barker and the vehicle he was driving was released in a bid to trace his whereabouts.

Early this morning Police Scotland confirmed Mr Barker had been found.
