Man detained after alleged trespassing incident at Montrose Railway Station

A man has been detained by British Transport Police following a trespassing incident in Angus.
The 37-year-old entered the water at Montrose Basin after the alleged incident at the rail station shortly before 9.20am.
A BTP spokesman said the man had been taken to hospital by officers.
He added: “Officers from Police Scotland, the Coastguard and RNLI also attended as the man had made his way into the water at Montrose Basin before being detained by BTP officers.”
No disruption was caused to services.
