Motorists on the A92 in Angus were stunned during Thursday’s afternoon rush hour when a car flipped on to its roof around 5pm.
A black Corsa was involved in an incident which left it overturned at the central reservation between Carnoustie and Arbroath, near the B9128 Muirdrum junction.
Paramedics attended and the driver was checked by paramedics who found no injuries. Fire and Rescue Service personnel also attended but their services were not needed.
A Police Scotland spokesman said officers helped keep the traffic flowing northbound towards Arbroath, and the road was kept open while the vehicle was recovered.
