Man charged after incident outside Lochside Leisure Centre

A 44-year-old man was taken to hospital on Tuesday night following an alleged assault outside the Lochside Leisure Centre in Forfar.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Tayside Division can confirm that a 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident outside Lochside Leisure Centre in Forfar yesterday evening.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service attended at around 8.20pm.

Paramedics took a casualty to Ninewells Hospital for treatment, although no information is available as to the extent of his injuries.
